J.E. Hallett Fire Company #1
The J.E. Hallett Fire Company of the Waverly Barton Fire District is one of the largest and most elite volunteer fire companies in Tioga County. The men and women of the department take great pride and are extremely dedicated members of our community. We provide the best fire and rescue services to the local residents and businesses 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
INTERESTED IN BECOMING A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER OR AN AUXILIARY MEMBER?
We are always looking for individuals from our communities who would be interested in joining the J.E. Hallett Fire Company or the Auxiliary. We are looking for people male or female 16 years of age and older to become active Firefighters. We provide all safety equipment and training at no cost to you. Even if you do not wish to be an active Firefighter, we could always use a hand with fund-raising activities. Our Auxiliary is also looking for new members to join and assist with activities, such as assisting with fundraising and social events.

District Meeting
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the District Meeting for the year 2011 of the Waverly Barton Fire District of the Town of Barton, County of Tioga, New York, will be held on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. on that day at 94 William Donnelly Indus Pkwy.
This notification is being given to the news media pursuant to the provisions of Section 94 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York.
Reflective Address Signs
J.E. Hallett Fire Company #1 is selling reflective address signs. Firefighters or Medical personal need to know they can find your house in an emergency, and the best way to find your home is with a clearly marked address sign on your mailbox or your house. You can purchase a reflective address sign for your home from us. The signs cost about $20, and you can get them as a vertical or horizontal design. We can even help you install it. To order one, call the fire station at 565-7754. Depending on the amount of orders we have, completions will take either a few days or up to two weeks. Click here for a order form.
